Unison
The first clue that we are dealing with musicians. Explained, unfortunately, with a toilet.
Unison - Here, in the second song (‘Fields of Elation’) from Sleep Token’s first EP, in case we hadn’t realised earlier that we are dealing with - in point of fact - musicians, we have our first clue. You see, the lyrical subject uses a musical term. One may assume that they know a thing or two about music (this was before AI, but Wikipedia was already around, so, well… who knows). And what does it mean? The term itself, of course, ripped cruelly out of the context of the sentence to satisfy Norn’s unwholesome needs?
Imagine you have two people desperate for the toilet. And these two people, by some strange twist of fate, land in the lavatory at the same time and in perfect synchronisation unzip their flies, in order to bring themselves to a state of catharsis by emptying their bladders. And then they both let out a sigh of relief. And here, for a fraction of a second, we have unison in practice. A perfect consonance of two sounds of the same pitch. You’re welcome. Now you probably need a wee.
